Amager Bakke among TOP 10 New Build projects in SFE Façade 2019 Competition
11 December 2019 – The unitised façade of the Danish waste-to-energy plant Amager Bakke was shortlisted in the New Build category in the SFE Façade of the Year Competition.
“We entered a project in the international façade competition for the very first time this year and were delighted to be ranked as a top 12 project in the New Build category,” says Leopold Bareš, CEO and chairman of the board of Sipral a.s.
The SFE Façade of the Year Competition is held by the Society of Façade Engineering (SFE) in three categories: New Build, Refurbishment, and Innovation. Projects are judged by an eight-member jury. The award ceremony took place on 10 December 2019 in London. The winners of the individual categories can be found on the competition twitter account.
