Sipral, a Czech company, has grown from three people to a two-hundred member team in 25 years and has increased its turnover a thousand times. At present time Sipral is cooperating with renowned architects as Bjarke Ingels, Jean Nouvel or Frank Gehry. Leopold Bareš, a Sipral´s founder can see secret of its success in courage, preciseness and luck of working in the right moment with the right people.
Sipral started its existence in a flat in Vinohrady, Prague and the first projects concerned complex skylights that are still working today without any major defects. Today Sipral is a leading supplier of building envelopes made of glass and light metals, a creator of unique facades for example for the most modern Danish incineration plant, a luxury residential project in London or a multi-function arena in Paris.
„Since the beginning our company´s added value is emphasis on search of individual, non-standard designs. Our original, innovative ideas bring us new contracts across markets“, gives his opinion Mr. Bareš, a company founder.
The company celebrated its 25th anniversary in a spirit of giving thanks to people who create or created Sipral. Leopold Bareš and Radim Koštial, a CEO since this January, thanked the current and former employees, especially those who have been working in Sipral since its beginning. The celebration took place in a hall in Strašnice, Prague where Sipral has its headquarters with live music, wine tasting and Mr. Bareš´s presentation. Mr Bareš left his CEO position this year which enables him devote time to technical area and Sipral´s development again.
„This year we will have a turnover of almost 900 million Czech crowns. We do not rush headlong. On the contrary. We concentrate on partial changes in the company operation that will enable us grow without any major problems. We did many organizational changes, at present time we are changing the structure and roles in our strategic subsidiary Sipral UK – even after Brexit the British market is very important for us. We also started to work on becoming famous in other strategically important territories as Scandinavia and Western Europe. „And we are trying to be involved in important projects on the home market, says Radim Koštial“, a managing director of Sipral.
