With the supply of over 40,000 m² of façade in a Stratford district, Sipral co-creates a new metropolitan center for North East London. In terms of the volume of façade supplied, the project ranks among Sipral’s largest projects supplied in a short period of time. Stratford, formerly a working-class industrial area and transport hub, is now a district transforming into a retail, leisure and cultural center focused on the life and needs of the modern people.

One of the creators of the contemporary face of Stratford is the developer Westfield Europe Ltd. and investor Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, who have been involved in the transformation of the district for many years, starting with the construction of the Westfield Stratford City shopping center adjacent to the Cherry Park project construction site.  The development project of this residential area, which is the result of an architectural collaboration between PRP Architects and Glenn Howells Architects, will offer tenants and building users over 1,200 residential units in 3 main residential towers (A1, A3 and A4) with 38, 30 and 22 floors respectively. The building brings contemporary architecture with interesting elements to the users and the public using modern materials and technologies. Privacy in the center of this district is provided by private terraces. On the other hand, courtyard squares, cafés and restaurants in single-storey buildings will offer opportunities for public life and gathering. Luxurious office spaces are designed in the A2 building.

Sipral supplies the envelope for all A1–A5 buildings. Raster façade covers the entirety of the single-storey buildings A2 and A5 and the A5 building is also decorated with lamella elements. The modular façade of the main residential towers consists of a combination of transparent and non-transparent parts. The architecture is shaped by cladding cassettes complemented by interesting decorative elements (fins) and decorative louvers. The sloping cladding elements with special custom-made profiles with a relief of jagged and sharp edges, contrasting with the textured surface of the GRC element and the White stone and Champagne colors give the building its unique character. The supplied façade meets all the requirements specified by the CWCT regulation, including the latest passive fire protection requirements to prevent the spread of fire across the façade.

The entire project is an example of several capital entities working together towards a common goal – to enhance the cultural, residential and commercial quality and attractiveness of the site. The project is followed by the construction of Cherry Park blocks B and C. The completion of the whole project is planned for 2023.
