Fragment, Karlín Prague
The Fragment building and David Černý’s sculptures will combine architecture and art. Sipral will supply an unusual façade to a residential building in Prague’s Karlín district, in the vicinity of Invalidovna.
In January 2021, we started working on a new project – the Fragment. The building will arise in Prague’s Karlín district by the end of 2022. The design of the building is the result of Trigema’s collaboration with architects David Wittasek and Jiří Řezák from the prestigious Qarta architecture studio and the famous artist David Černý. The sculptures by David Černý, which will support the building, are intended to be a prominent metropolitan showcase of the connection between art and everyday life. Through the synergy of quality architecture and modern art, the creators aim to bring Prague back to the forefront of contemporary architecture.
